Production Progress
We are currently in the pre-production phase of this project—confirming interview subjects, developing the narrative, talking with community organizations, planning events to shoot, applying for funding through grants and planning crowd funding campaigns to start in April.
We have begun shooting time critical events as they occur. We shot the Transparent Election Initiative's Billings event in January which announced The Montana Plan. This was a bipartisan discussion panel educating voters on the details of the ballot initiative. We shot speeches and follow up interviews with Jeff Mangan, Jon Tester and Marc Racicot.
In February, we shot one of Russ Cleveland's town hall events in Missoula. Russ outlined his campaign platform and values, emphasizing the issues of affordability, corporate influence, Citizens United, a failing healthcare system and representation of working class Americans. We also shot interviews with some Missoula residents at this event.
